Designed for outdoor use

The Cachi is made of 100% acacia wood and aluminium, which is a guarantee of quality. The aluminium frame will not rust, as this material is resistant to rain. It is also epoxy-painted to give it a nice uniform colour. Acacia is a hardwood suitable for outdoor use. The wood for the Cachi garden set comes from Vietnam. To be able to use it immediately, it is coated with an oil that protects it. The cushion covers can be removed with a zip. 

Maintenance

This set is coated with a tinted oil at the time of manufacture. The impregnation of the oil varies according to the type of wood. A small residue may remain. Be sure to remove this with a cloth before the first use. You do not need to oil your new garden element, you can wait until the end of the summer.
Acacia is a living material. As a result, its appearance will change over time and some cracks will appear. This is normal and is what gives hardwood its much-appreciated authentic charm. Although robust and weather-resistant, Acacia requires a little maintenance to prolong its life.
Daily, remove leaves, standing water and dust. Wash stains and food residues with soapy water and a sponge. If your structure is very dirty, you can use a small hard brush.
In spring and late summer, clean your garden furniture thoroughly and allow it to dry. Once the woodwork is completely dry, apply a thin layer of oil. Make sure it does not rain for 24 hours after applying the oil.
If your acacia garden furniture has been exposed to a lot of rain, you may notice that the surface fibres have swollen a little and that the whole thing feels rougher. To remedy this, lightly sand the surface with fine-grained sandpaper until it is smooth. Once you have finished sanding, apply a coat of oil to restore the garden furniture to its original colour.
The oil coat is what keeps the furniture from staining and allows it to withstand pollution, weathering and mildew. If you choose to let your acacia furniture age without applying oil twice a year, it will take on a nice silver colour. However, it will no longer be protected.

Precaution

- It is important to winterise your acacia garden furniture. Store it in a cool, airy place away from moisture. If you protect it with a cover, choose a polyester one rather than a PVC one.
- Do not expose your garden furniture to direct or excessive heat.
- Do not leave a damp sponge on the tabletop for too long, as this will make it rough to the touch.
