Maintenance details

This set is coated with tinted oil during its manufacturing process. The oil impregnation may vary depending on the wood species, and a small residue may remain. Make sure to remove it with a cloth before the first use. You don't need to apply oil to your new garden furniture; you can wait until the end of summer.
Acacia is a living material, and its appearance changes over time with the emergence of some cracks. This is normal and adds to the appreciated authentic charm of hardwood. Although sturdy and weather-resistant, acacia requires some maintenance to prolong its lifespan.
On a daily basis, remove leaves, stagnant water, and dust. Clean stains and food residues with soapy water and a sponge. If your structure is heavily soiled, you can use a small stiff brush.
In spring and at the end of summer, thoroughly clean your garden furniture and let it dry. Once the wood is completely dry, apply a thin layer of oil. Note that there should be no rain within the 24 hours following the oil application.
If your acacia garden furniture has been exposed to heavy rainfall, you may notice that the surface fibers have swollen slightly, and the overall texture feels rougher.
