Where to place your console?

Very often, you will find this piece of furniture in an entrance hall, near a coat rack. And for good reason, the console is originally designed to place your belongings directly when you enter your home: keys, mail, wallet, etc. Its elongated shape is made to be placed along a wall, unlike a coffee table or a dining table.
