Which bed to choose for your child?
There are several types of children’s beds available on our website. To help you make the right choice, here are some details about each of them.
The multifunctional bed
The multifunctional bed is perfect for small children’s rooms in apartments or when your child shares a room with siblings. As the name suggests, it combines several pieces of furniture into one, helping you save space and money. This type of bed can include a small desk, cubbyholes, drawers, storage shelves, and even a small wardrobe, providing extra storage and more room to play. Plus, the multifunctional bed is original and fun, adding a playful touch to the room.
The floor bed
The floor bed has several advantages:
- More comfortable, as it has no barriers or bars.
- Safer, your child won’t risk falling out of bed and hurting themselves, as the bed is designed to be close to the floor. This proximity helps your little one manage their sleep more easily and encourages greater independence.
- No need to get up to take them out of bed; they can do it themselves. You can also enhance your closeness with your child and cuddle them more easily thanks to the absence of a barrier.
One last tip: we advise against placing the mattress directly on the floor, as this could create moisture and mould stains, which are harmful to your young child. Instead, choose a bed with a frame and slats.
The playful bed
The cabin bed is a must-have in playful beds, designed to entertain and inspire your little one. It’s a great way to reassure your child while boosting their imagination and creativity. With its cosy design, the cabin bed allows them to create their own little cocoon, providing both warmth and comfort.
The car bed is perfect for taking your child on a journey to the land of dreams. Whether it’s a race car, fire truck, or a little city car, your child will have a choice and can create wonderful stories before bed.
If your little one loves imaginative play, the tipi bed will be sure to delight. Super trendy and charming, the tipi bed will become their own little hideaway. It’s a wonderful way for them to nurture their creativity, complete with bedding specially designed for children.
The adjustable bed
If you’re worried about bedtime tantrums, we recommend opting for an adjustable bed. Designed to grow with your child, this bed adapts to their needs. Say goodbye to bedtime stress – everything will unfold smoothly and at your child’s own pace.
Start by removing the bars while keeping the same size as the baby bed, and then gradually increase its size as your little one grows in height over the months.
The adjustable bed is the perfect way to gently and correctly transition from a baby bed to a big kid's bed. Adjustable beds usually come in several sizes to lengthen or shorten the bed according to your child’s needs.
The drawer bed
The drawer bed is the best way to optimise the space under the bed. Typically unused, this space can be put to better use by adding storage. You’ll have more room for blankets, duvets, bed linens, and cushions.
The drawers will give your child’s bed an extra function and provide additional, compact, and practical storage. However, we recommend cleaning the drawers regularly to avoid excessive dust buildup.
