Natural Style

Made of acacia wood, it has a natural appearance that easily blends into any environment. Acacia is a hard and durable wood. We have chosen Vietnamese acacia for this cart. The wood is already coated with a tinted oil that protects it and leaves it with a finish as close to raw as possible.

Maintenance Details

 
This set is coated with a tinted oil during its manufacturing. The oil impregnation varies depending on the wood type, and there may be a slight residue. Be sure to remove it with a cloth before first use. You don't need to apply oil to your new garden element; you can wait until the end of summer.
Acacia is a living material. Therefore, its appearance changes over time, and some cracks may appear. This is normal and adds to the authentic charm of hardwood. Although it is robust and weather-resistant, acacia requires some maintenance to extend its lifespan.
On a daily basis, remove leaves, standing water, and dust. Clean stains and food residues with soapy water and a sponge. If your structure is heavily soiled, you can use a small stiff brush.
In spring and at the end of summer, clean your garden furniture thoroughly and let it dry. Once the wood is completely dry, apply a thin layer of oil. Be sure that it will not rain within the following 24 hours after oil application.
If your acacia garden furniture has been exposed to a lot of rain, you may notice that the surface fibers have swelled slightly, and the overall texture is rougher to the touch. To remedy this, lightly sand it with fine-grit sandpaper until it regains a smooth appearance. After sanding, apply a layer of oil to restore the original color to your garden furniture.
The oil layer is what protects garden furniture from stains and allows it to withstand pollution, weather, and mold. If you choose to let your acacia furniture age naturally without applying oil twice a year, it will develop a lovely silvery patina. However, it will no longer be protected.
