How to choose your sofa bed?

To choose the right sofa bed, it is important to respect several criteria to be sure not to make the wrong choice.

The first step is to assess the available space in your living room, whether it’s large or smaller, to determine if you can opt for a panoramic sofa or should stick to a 2-seater or 3-seater convertible sofa. You’ll also need to decide if you prefer a classic sofa or a corner sofa.

The use you are going to make of it must also be taken into account, will this sofa bed be for regular use or for occasional use? Depending on your answer, the choice of mattress then comes into play. To choose it well, here are the two criteria which, in our opinion, require reflection:

The material of the mattress, it is important to choose a mattress with a good material to ensure a good and pleasant night's sleep. This is why several materials are available to you:

  • The memory foam mattress: for a mattress that adapts perfectly to your body
  • The polyurethane foam mattress: for a rather soft mattress
  • The latex mattress: for a firm mattress

The thickness of the mattress goes hand in hand with its material and here again different possibilities are available to you:

  • 6 cm mattress: Perfect for occasional sleeping
  • 10 cm mattress: For fairly regular sleeping
  • 15 cm and more mattress: For a mattress similar to your bed

Finally, as with classic sofas, you’ll need to consider the upholstery material, its colour, and, of course, the style of your sofa!
