Wood from forests
The Eucalyptus of the Sevilla table is an exotic hardwood from-certified forests in Uruguay. It is hard, resistant and perfectly suited for outdoor use. In addition, the wood is coated with a tinted oil that protects it further and gives it a colour as close as possible to the raw eucalyptus. The Sevilla garden table is therefore robust. In addition, the aluminium structure is a guarantee of quality and longevity. It is a material which, in addition to being light, does not rust.

Maintenance details
This garden set is covered with tinted oil on the wooden parts during its manufacture. The impregnation of the oil varies according to the wood species. A small residue may remain. Be sure to remove it with a cloth before using it for the first time. You don't need to put oil on your new garden furniture, you can wait until the end of the summer.
Eucalyptus is a living material. Therefore, its appearance changes over time and some cracks appear. This is normal and it is what makes the authentic charm so appreciated by hardwood. Although robust and weather-resistant, Eucalyptus requires a little maintenance to prolong its life.
On a daily basis, remove leaves, standing water and dust. Wash stains and food residue with soapy water and a sponge. If your table is very dirty, you can use a small hard brush.
In the spring and late summer, give your outdoor furniture a good cleaning and let it dry. Once the woodwork is completely dry, apply a thin coat of oil. Make sure it won't rain for 24 hours after applying the oil.
If your eucalyptus garden furniture has been exposed to a lot of rain, you may notice that the surface fibres have swollen a bit and that the whole thing feels rougher. To remedy this, lightly sand the surface with fine sandpaper until it feels smooth. Once you've finished sanding, apply a coat of oil to restore the colour of the garden room.
The oil coat is what keeps the furniture from staining and what allows it to withstand pollution, weathering and mildew. If you choose to let your eucalyptus furniture age without applying oil twice a year, it will turn a beautiful silver colour. However, it will no longer be protected.
Precautions
- It is important to winterise your eucalyptus garden furniture. Store it in a cool, ventilated area away from humidity. If you protect it with a cover, prefer polyester covers to PVC ones.
- Do not put your garden furniture in contact with direct heat or too much heat.
- Do not leave a wet sponge on the table top for too long, it will make it rough to the touch.
