Style
Made of Eucalyptus, the Almeria garden table has a beautiful authentic look. It fits elegantly on any terrace and gives it a natural touch. The rectangular table has a 60cm butterfly extension to extend from 1.2m to 1.8m. When extended, it accommodates a parasol with a diameter of 50mm or less in its centre.
Quality assured
The Eucalyptus in the Almeria table is an exotic hardwood from-certified forests in Uruguay. It is hard, durable and perfectly suited for outdoor use. In addition, the wood is coated with a stain oil that protects it further and gives it a colour that is as close as possible to the raw eucalyptus. The Almeria garden table is therefore robust.
Further information
In our shop, you will find several models of wooden garden furniture for small and large families. Additional chairs and armchairs are also available to increase the seating capacity of your living room.
This table has a hole for a parasol. It is imperative to use a base (not supplied) to hold the parasol, as it cannot be placed on the table alone.
Maintenance details
This garden table is coated with tinted oil during manufacture. The impregnation of the oil varies according to the type of wood. A small residue may remain. Be sure to remove this with a cloth before using the table for the first time. You do not need to oil your new garden furniture, you can wait until the end of the summer.
Eucalyptus is a living material. As a result, its appearance changes over time and some cracks appear. This is normal and is what gives hardwood its much-appreciated authentic charm. Although robust and weather-resistant, Eucalyptus requires little maintenance to prolong its life.
Daily, remove leaves, standing water and dust. Wash stains and food residues with soapy water and a sponge. If your table is very dirty, you can use a small hard brush.
In spring and late summer, clean your garden furniture thoroughly and let it dry. Once the woodwork is completely dry, apply a thin layer of oil. Make sure it does not rain for 24 hours after applying the oil.
If your eucalyptus garden furniture has been exposed to a lot of rain, you may notice that the surface fibres have swollen a little and that the whole thing feels rougher. To remedy this, lightly sand the surface with fine sandpaper until it is smooth. Once you have finished sanding, apply a coat of oil to restore the garden furniture to its original colour.
The oil coat is what keeps the furniture from staining and allows it to withstand pollution, weathering and mildew. If you choose to let your eucalyptus furniture age without applying oil twice a year, it will take on a nice silver colour. However, it will no longer be protected from
Precautions
It is important to protect your eucalyptus garden furniture during colder seasons. Store it in a cool, airy place away from moisture. If you protect it with a cover, choose a polyester cover over a PVC one.
Do not expose your garden furniture to direct or excessive heat.
Do not leave a damp sponge on the table top for too long, as this will make it rough to the touch.
