A variety of dishes and flavours
The Jacques smoker barbecue offers you a host of cooking possibilities, with dishes that are as varied as they are delicious. They're no longer just for professionals! It's even possible to choose the flavour of the smoking, by choosing different flavoured smoking woods: cloves, bay leaves, garlic... you're bound to find what you're looking for. These are placed either in the smoking box or directly on the coals. There is also a water dish at the top of the heating zone, which ensures even, moist heat. As a result, your food will be tender and evenly cooked. It's also a way of adding flavour when cooking, by replacing the water with wine, vinegar or even stock.
Flat, vertical or conventional smoking
The barbecue consists of 3 parts: charcoal bowl (to generate heat), smoking compartment and bonnet. The 2 cooking grids can be used simultaneously or independently for flat smoking. For vertical smoking, there are 3 hooks on the bonnet to hang the food. If you don't want to smoke your food, you can also use the Jacques barbecue as a traditional barbecue. To do this, remove the container with the liquid to allow the heat to come into direct contact with the food.
Practical and designed for controlled cooking
The barbecue has a large cooking capacity thanks to its 2 cooking grids and 3 hooks for vertical smoking. Enough to cook for several people at the same time. And to make sure you don't disappoint your guests, we've done everything possible to ensure you can cook like a chef. To do this, the Jacques barbecue has a thermometer and 4 aerators: 1 on the bonnet and 3 on the bowl. To obtain a low temperature, simply close the flaps to stop the air intake and reduce the presence of oxygen. As you cook, refill the charcoal and smoking liquid by opening the side door, which is carefully positioned to ensure maximum smoke loss. The bonnet and smoking chamber have handles for easy handling.
A structure that's easy to assemble and made from high-quality materials
The steel structure, coated with enamel paint, is highly resistant to heat. The 3 legs of the structure provide great stability for comfort when cooking. What's more, the stainless steel door is fitted with a handle in Bakelite, an insulating plastic material.
