Here we’ve made a pretty flower using a grey rug and a white rug, but you can, of course, create whatever shape you like. Let’s get started!

Here are the steps:

  1. Draw the desired shape on a piece of cardboard to make a template.
  2. Cut out the shape using a craft knife
  3. Place the pattern on your rug and trace around the edges
  4. Cut the rug with a craft knife (make sure you place a piece of cardboard underneath to avoid damaging the floor).
  5. There you go – you’ve got your own original and unique rug!
